House Woas

So, I'm on pinterest a lot and love to look at pins about DIY anything! Recently I have been looking at other women's blogs about their before and after pictures of what they do to their homes. Well, when starting this blog I had in mind that I would do the same . I feel if I told myself that I was going to post about it, I would stop looking at others and start fixing mine!!

We have recently painted our kitchen cabinets black and laid down some tile, but that's for another post. 

(note, I don't take the best pictures sorry, oh and I probably should have clean, but oh well :) )

There's so much I want to do to my house I just have a hard time choosing what to do first!

Here are some of the things I want to do

Living Room:

Pick out a color scheme

Put stuff on walls

Thicker Crown molding

New couches ( most of our furniture are hand- me-downs)

Curtains PLEASE!!
New entry table

Dining Room:

Pick out color scheme

Paint light black (its brown)
Thicker Crown molding

Put stuff on walls

Cloth Rug?? ( saw on pinterest lol)

Kitchen:

Redo countertops

Add backsplash
Thicker Crown molding

Remove ugly light and add something else

Add something to long empty wall

Pantry/Laundry/Mudroom:

Paint horizontal stripes either on one wall or all walls
Different shelving ( i hate the wire)
New light fixture

Also, this past week was Vacation Bible School for Mackey and Story! They had tons of fun and got to learn some cool songs about Jesus. Plus, Mackey got to drink Cool-Aid all week long, in which she would ask for seconds every time she was handed a cup.

We had a great time at VBS this past week, plus the kiddos were worn out by the time we got home they went to bed and slept in early for momma.SCORE!

Forth of July

Hey Poodles!

This is my 1st post on my new blog! I am so excited!! I figured I would tell y'all about our 4th of July! Our little family of four went down to my parents lake house and had a good ole' time! First we woke up and my momma had us cookin' some homemade pecan waffles! After breakfast, the neighborhood that my parents live in celebrates the forth with a golf cart parade.

This was our first year to see the golf cart parade and we had a great time!

After the parade the hubs, Mackey, Story and I went off on the jet skis...sorry no picture, but we had fun and had to come back cause miss story fell asleep and it was time for her nap. We ate some butt (meat) at lunch time with some other tasty stuff and after that decided to head out of the boat. Story cried almost the entire time...she didn't want any part of it!

When we got back we ate, some snacked around with leftovers from lunch and then we went out to shoot us some fireworks!! I didn't have my camera, but they were so pretty and the hubby managed to keep his limbs in-tacked firing them off. What an awesome ending to an awesome day!
